Healthcare and Pharmaceutical

Mater Public Hospital Springfield and Central Energy Plant Building, QLD
Full structural design of concrete package and Central Energy Building of the new public hospital in Springfield. Led coordination with services and contractors to ensure smooth on-site delivery.

Bundaberg Hospital, QLD
Contributed to the Detailed Business Case for a new Bundaberg Hospital while assessing future demand, site conditions, Healthcare requirements and other services planning.

Redcliffe Hospital Expansion, QLD
Supported the concept design stage of the Redcliffe Hospital Expansion by developing the 3D gravity and lateral analysis model in ETABS. Responsible for the design of precast shear walls and columns forming the hospital’s structural core, ensuring an efficient and constructible system aligned with healthcare performance standards.

Aegros plasma fractionation plant, Sydney, NSW
Led structural design management for Aegros’ TGA GMP-approved plasma fractionation facility in Sydney. Coordinated with multidisciplinary services, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver a compliant, high-performance structure supporting advanced biopharmaceutical operations within a tightly controlled clean-room environment.

The Wesley Hospital, QLD
Provided structural design and certification for multiple upgrade projects within the Wesley Hospital campus. Responsibilities included assessment and modification of existing structures, integration of new services, and coordination with hospital engineers and contractors to ensure safe, practical, and compliant design solutions within an operational healthcare environment.
Education

Bond Institute of Health & Sport Extension, Robina, QLD
Held full responsibility for the structural design and delivery of the concrete package from schematic design through construction management. The project expanded BIHS facilities to support advanced health, sport, and research programs, integrating new structural systems seamlessly with the existing campus infrastructure.

Burnside State High School, QLD
Responsible for the complete structural design of the new Performing Arts Centre, including reinforced and post-tensioned concrete slabs, precast walls, and columns. Delivered a cost-effective and buildable solution that supports large open-span spaces, enhancing the school’s performing arts and community facilities.

Jubilee English High School, IN
Held overall structural responsibility and project management for the school’s campus expansion. Managed coordination with architects, contractors, and the client to deliver efficient and safe structural solutions supporting new academic and activity spaces, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to design and safety standards.
Commercial

Rockhampton Botanic Gardens and Zoo Redevelopment, QLD
RPEQ and structural lead for the redevelopment project, responsible from concept to tender. Oversaw structural design, coordination with architects, council, and services teams to deliver practical, compliant, and constructible solutions for new visitor facilities and animal enclosures within the heritage-listed gardens precinct.

Meriton Suites, VIC
Worked on the structural design, detailing, and site inspection of post-tensioned slabs for Melbourne’s first Meriton Suites — a 57-storey mixed-use hotel and serviced apartment tower developed by Hickory and Meriton Group.
The project features a high-performance concrete frame and accelerated construction program.

Reston Station, USA
Designed gravity and lateral systems for the first of three iconic towers at Reston Metro Plaza, including concrete braced columns and six-storey unbraced composite columns. The 365,000 sq ft LEED Silver tower, designed by Helmut Jahn, is a landmark along the Dulles Corridor offering world-class amenities and performance.

BUILT TO RENT, IN
Led structural design and project management for a multi-storey paying guest accommodation under Elfa Spaces. Oversaw coordination with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver cost-efficient, modular concrete structures ensuring safety, rapid construction, and long-term durability aligned with ELFA’s standardized housing systems.
TECH IN AEC
At Rivercity Consultants, we’re continuously exploring how technology can simplify and accelerate Architecture, Engineering, and Construction workflows. Our in-house tools and research focus on automation, parametric design, and data integration — bridging the gap between engineering and documentation to deliver smarter, faster, and more coordinated project outcomes.
Automation PT Shop Drawings— RAM Concept to Revit
Developed an automation tool to export design data from RAM Concept directly into Revit, enabling near-automatic generation of shop drawings. Achieved over 75% reduction in drafting time and improved design-documentation accuracy.
Auto Wall Cracking in ETABS
Automated the iterative process of checking tensile stresses in walls and applying cracked factors using the ETABS API and Python. This replaced the conventional manual method, significantly reducing engineering time and minimizing potential modelling errors while improving consistency in reinforced concrete wall design.
4D BIM Integration — Revit & Navisworks
Developed a 4D BIM workflow integrating Revit and Navisworks to link project models with construction sequencing and material estimates. This enabled real-time visualization of progress, improved coordination, and provided clients with transparent insights into scheduling, logistics, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
